The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is responsible for overseeing an organization’s information security program. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures to protect the organization’s data and systems, identifying and mitigating cyber risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The CISO also works closely with other stakeholders to communicate the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that security considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making.
